The Latest: Kurds launch final pull to better IS in Syria

BEIRUT (AP) — The Latest on the Syria dispute (all times local):

U.S.-backed and Kurdish-led Syrian army contend they have begun the final pull to better the Islamic State organisation in the last slot it binds in eastern Syria.

Syrian Democratic Forces orator Mustafa Bali tweeted that the descent began Saturday after more than 20,000 civilians were evacuated from the IS-held area in the eastern range of Deir el-Zour.

Bali says the aim of the stream pull is to end the troops participation of “Daesh terrorists.” He was using an Arabic acronym to impute to the extremists.

U.S. President Donald Trump likely Wednesday that IS will have mislaid all the domain it once tranquil in Iraq and Syria by subsequent week.

The Kurdish-led SDF launched the descent to end the IS participation in Syria in September, a conflict that left hundreds of fighters passed on both sides.
